iPhone 3G is coming!
2008 June 9 – 10:36 pmApple today announced the iPhone 3G at WWDC 2008 and its list of new features is quite impressive the iPhone 3G will also come with the new firmware v2.0 which is to include Microsoft Exchange Active Sync so your iPhone can sync directly with your companies Exchange server.
The new iPhone 3G doesn’t just include 3G it now has built in GPS, a slight change to the design, the same lovely 3.5 inch screen and a flush headphone jack so you can now plug in whatever headphones you like.
Here are some of the stats for the new iPhone 3G:
300 hours standby
10 hours 2G talk time
5 hours 3G talk time
5 – 6 hours browsing
7 hours of video (perfect now that you can get films with iTunes)
24 hours audio
The new iPhone 3G will be released on the 11th of July in 14 major countries they have also said the iPhone 3G has a maximum price of $199 around the world but we are going to wait and see what price it is here in the UK.



A few times now we’ve spotted what looks like a bug with the Windows 2008 Server’s DNS Cache. Every few months clients don’t get a response to DNS queries with the answer is already in the cache. Removing the entry from the DNS server cache does nothing but clearing the entire cache fixes the problem in seconds.
