Being systems and network geeks we’re not really great at web design, but some of us here have always been aware of the common web design rules – such as not exceeding certain sizes, and users only scrolling through 95% of the page maximum, but we’ve never seen much hard evidence.
Google have just released a new 20% project, called BrowserSize, that overlays browser size data on top of a chosen URL. Just be aware, it currently doesn’t take into account fluid designs right now.
